My BCMSN Lab should cover High Availability and InterVlan routing ofcourse, This time I used HSRP protocols.
For topology I still using my previous Diagram.
Hereis My Lab:

Result :
looks who is PC1 default gateway
it’s DLS1 , and the other is standby router
PC1#telnet 192.168.10.1 Trying 192.168.10.1 ... Open User Access Verification Password: DLS1>
now I’m exit from DLS1 then I want to know who is PC2 gateway 192.168.30.1
it’s DLS2 ..
so the planning it’s match with our planning.
PC1#telnet 192.168.30.1 Trying 192.168.30.1 ... Open User Access Verification Password: DLS2>
Now I want to ping to PC2
PC1#ping 192.168.30.10 Type escape sequence to abort. Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 192.168.30.10, timeout is 2 seconds: !!!!! Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 24/48/76 ms
it’s inter VLAN routing because the DLS switch are L3 capability it’s enaught just add command :ip routing in configuration mode. it’s will route intervlan in their local VLAN interface. the good idea if we implemented another Dynamic Routing Protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, RIP v2, etc if we are connected to other WAN such as FrameRelay, VPN, etc.
